Today it was revealed that the two Hello! Pro Kenshuusei members, Karen Tanaka and Hirona Oura, have ended their training as Kenshuusei. Their profiles have been removed from the Kenshuusei site.
Other than that there’s no information on why they have ended their training, or anything else really. There have been quite a few changes going on in the Hello! Pro Kenshuusei, as always really. Biggest one was when Rie Kaneko left after 5 years. To be honest, I don’t follow the kenshuusei that closely performance-wise, there’s only a few I’m interested in, and Karen and Hirona weren’t any of them.
Karen joined the Kenshuusei in May 2013 as a 19th generation member, she has been active just over a year, and is currently 16 years old. After looking more into her, I found out her looks have quite changed from the moment she joined, and also the fact that she looks better on video and live, than in her profile photos. She also has quite an amazing voice, although there was of course room for improvement, but really really good. I think it is quite a loss that she has ended her training, I think she could have been good for a new unit with her voice.
Hirona joined the Kenshuusei in September 2013 as a 20th generation member. She was one of the finalist of the Morning Musume Mirai Shoujo auditions, and currently 13 years old. She is a very cute-looking girl with an amazing voice. It’s no surprise she made the audition finals. Another one who would have been great for a new unit I think.
It’s too bad these girls have left, but whatever their reasons are I wish them luck in the future! That’s it for now.
