New Berryz MV + Radio rip and C-ute upcoming single covers revealed

A few days ago they revealed the MV for Berryz Koubou’s Romance wo Katatte, one of the A-sides of their final single! I really loved the song preview before and hearing the full version I still love it! The cute/dreamy sound is very rare for Berryz, but they pull it off very well… The MV setting could have been better, especially for their last single… But all the members look very pretty and cute so I guess that makes up for it a bit. They did do their best more different close-ups which is also a plus!

There’s also the radio rip for Towa no Uta is here! It reminds me a bit of a Buono! song, which is a good thing. I especially like the intro and verses! I can’t wait to hear more of it!

Then, the covers of C-ute’s upcoming 26th single (surprise, surprise, another double A-side) I miss you / THE FUTURE have been revealed!

Limited D, very pretty this one. I like the butterflies with the member colors, also their group name logo and song title typography looks very nice, probably my favorite!

So, in total there’s two regular and four limited editions… Seems like this is the format now for all the H!P groups… The single will be released on November 19th! That’s it for now!

Berryz Koubou’s upcoming single will be their final single + song preview

It was announced that Berryz Koubou’s upcoming single ‘Romance wo Katatte / Towa no Uta’ will be their final and last single. It seems pretty soon, since this single will be released on November 12th, while they go on “indefinite hiatus” at the end of their spring tour in 2015. It seems like they could easily release another one in april or march, but they’ll probably release an album by that time instead.

I think most of these covers are rather pretty! My favorite is the Limited C cover with the constellations! The only one I don’t like is the Limited D cover because of the ugly yellow background… The girls still look pretty though! I’m loving these outfits! The white ones are just a tiny bit cheap looking, but they look somewhat pretty! The plait outfits are too pretty! They remind me of the outfits they wore at their 2013 Budokan live!

I really love this one! It has a really lovely, upbeat and sweet sound, all the girls sound really cute! I can’t wait to hear the full thing with the MV and everything! Well, that’s it for now!

S/mileage 3rd gen revealed

 

S/mileage’s 3rd gen has been revealed today! Like said before, they’re all Hello! Pro Kenshuusei. The three new S/mileage members are Mizuki Murota, Rikako Sasaki and Maho Aikawa!

Mizuki has been in the Hello! Pro Kenshuusei program since 2012, after failing S/mileage 2nd gen audition in 2011. She also auditioned for Morning Musume 11th gen but didn’t make it.  Don’t know much about her, but she looks pretty cute.

Rikako used to be in idol group SCK GIRLS, but left and auditioned for Morning Musume 11th gen, but failed. Kind of sad she’s joining S/mileage, I think she could have done really well in a new H!P unit or even in Morning Musume.

Maho joined the Kenshuusei in spring 2014, honestly I don’t know anything about her, which is mainly because she is still very new to me. She looks cute though!

I think these members are some really interesting choices for S/mileage… I think especially someone like Rikako could do better than S/mileage, but maybe with members like this S/mileage will get more attention and become a better group. I hope so at least! That’s it for now.

Quite a lot of stuff going on! Some really great releases… I’m especially looking forward to Morning Musume’s upcoming single and album… I ordered a copy of both! Also a big performance for Morning Musume in New York! I wish I could be there, but sadly that’s impossible, since I live in Europe… But I’m sure it will be an amazing live, I hope both the members and fans will have a great time!

Shabadaba Doo & Mikaeri Bijin MVs + more about 12th gen

Yesterday’s episode of Hello! Project Station featured MV previews of Morning Musume’s upcoming single songs ‘Shabadaba Doo~’ and ‘Mikaeri Bijin’ .

As expected the MV for ‘Shabadaba Doo~’ is very cute and pink! Sayumi is as cute as always! The song is very cute and I still love it as much as when I first heard the preview! I especially love the light pink dress, it looks gorgeous on her and just looks beautiful! It reminds me a bit of the Fantasy Juuichi outfits, which is definitely a good thing!

Then there’s the ‘Mikaeri Bijin’ MV! These outfits are horrible… The colors looks horrible together, but these black corsets and the brown boots are probably the worst part! Don’t know what they were thinking… Thankfully most members have nice hairstyles and look gorgeous in the close-up shots, like Zukki, Erina and Mizuki. The verses of the song are a bit bland, but I love the chorus!

The thing that feels a bit awkward is that there’s a whole goodbye song for Sayumi. When I read that there would be a song for 9th + 10th + 11th gen I was expecting something like Waratte! YOU, their own song that would be a start of their own era. So the fact it’s a goodbye song for Sayumi was actually a bit disappointing… Don’t get me wrong, I love Sayumi, but this is a little over the top. I mean, members who previously graduated just got their own song, and some of them even didn’t get that (Gaki only got a cover song and Aika didn’t get anything).

Then there’s also footage of 12th gen!

First to introduce herself is Haruna Ogata! Isn’t she cute? She sounds quite nervous introducing herself, but she does well! Introducing yourself at Nippon Budokan must be terrifying! As she says, she is from Osaka and she does figure skating!

Next is Miki Nonaka, another completely new girl! She doesn’t sound as nervous introducing herself and looks adorable as well! She is from Shizuoka and she is an amazing english speaker! This was really surprising since most english talk you get in J-pop is usually bad engrish, but Miki sounds great! Definitely a big plus!

Next up are the two Kenshuusei, Akane Haga and Maria Makino! But seem rather confident and happy to be there. I definitely think Akane needs to get a nice haircut ASAP. I can’t wait to see these girls with a more Morning Musume-look. Also really curious as what their member colors are going to be! Some of the free colors include (after Sayumi graduates); light pink, light blue, purple, grey, gold and possible brown (or chocolate as Haruna calls it xD)? I’m not sure they’ll give away light pink so soon though… And not sure if brown will ever be used again! But I’m curious anyway!

I think 12th gen really has some great choices and after some training they will fit in perfectly! That’s it for now!
